Mrs. Ellen Marie Sicker (nee Aker), born on April 15, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, in her hometown of Cincinnati. She was 73 years old.
Ellen’s life was deeply rooted in the city where she was born and raised. Her journey through life was marked by enduring relationships and a strong sense of family that remained central to her identity.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Nicky Sicker; her daughter, Tracy Stringer; her step-daughter, Tammy Sicker; and her step-son, Gary Sicker. Ellen also shared close bonds with her sister, Patricia Aker-Chisenhall; her brother, Joseph Aker; and sister-in-law, Karen Aker. Her extended family includes her step-sister, Stella Aker-Newcomber and step-brother, Kevin Saylor.
Ellen was preceded in death by several cherished members of her family: her step-daughter, Sandy Sicker; her brother, Michael Aker; her sister-in-law, Kathy Aker; her brother-in-law, James Chisenhall; and half-sisters, Waunita Aker-Cain and Laverne Aker.
Throughout her life, Ellen touched the hearts of those around her with quiet strength and steadfast presence. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. A Graveside Service will be held on September 16, 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM at Baltimore Cemetery, 3200 Costello Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stump’s Lanes, 5536 Bridgetown Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45248.
