Ellen Walch

Ellen Walch was born in East Orange, NJ on December 17, 1944 to parents William and Romayne Price. She grew up in Bloomfield, NJ and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1962. Ellen married Ed on June 27, 1964. She is survived by her husband, Ed, of 61 years and son, Eddie, and daughter, Beth. In addition, she leaves Eddie's wife, Leslie, and their sons, Zachary and Connor, Ellen's devoted and much beloved grandsons. She also leaves a brother, William. In addition, she will be missed by close cousins, Michael and Arthur Walch, and their families. She joined the angels in heaven on September 12th of this year.
Ellen was a Girl Scout leader and also an employee of Girl Scout Council of Greater Essex County. Upon retiring, Ed and Ellen travelled extensively. Her passions included the Tampa Bay Rays, Disney and attending stage musicals and plays. Most of all, Ellen believed in God and the power of prayer. She will be missed by her family, friends and church community.
A memorial service will be held on October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peace Presbyterian Church, 12705 S.R. 64E, Bradenton, FL 34212.
