Elliott Colton Wright

Elliott Colton Wright, age 11, of Parsonsburg, MD, departed this life on August 29, 2025. He was born on June 15, 2014 and was the beloved son of Ices Chelsea Bailey and Jermael Lemuel Wright, and raised by his grandmother, who loved him as her own son, his Mimi, Julia Gregory.

Elliott is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Bless Wright, Micah Dodd, Brielle Dodd, and Clara Wright. He was preceded in death by his brother, Javion Fields.

Also left to cherish Elliott's memory are his paternal grandmother, Robin Wright; uncle Donald Wright (Annette) of Glen Dale, MD; aunts Venita Molina of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Nicole Jacobs of Salisbury, NC. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilson Wright, and uncle, Victor Wright.

Also holding Elliott in their hearts are his maternal grandmother, Julia Gregory (Andre); great-grandmother Jeanne Pruitt; uncles Legend Gregory and Rakiem Bailey; and great-aunt April (Corey) Black; and godmother Alexis Bloxom. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Robert Wayne Pruitt.

A host of other great aunts, great uncles and cousins will cherish Elliott's memory too.

Elliott had a heart full of love and a smile that could light up any room. He found joy in the simple things-snacking on "chippies," enjoying McDonald's, Chinese food, or sipping on Sunny D and orange Fanta. The beach was one of his favorite places, where his laughter and energy always matched the waves.

Elliott really enjoyed riding wild roller coasters and playing his favorite video game, Roblox. He was fascinated by space, the moon and stars and loved to run and was rarely seen without his running tennis shoes.

Elliott's love for his family was endless. He had a special way of showing it-always saying "I love you" with a peace sign, and reminding his dad that he loved him "to the moon and back and more than all of the stars in the sky." His warmth, playfulness, and infectious smile will forever be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

Though Elliott's time here was far too short, his laughter and love will be carried in our hearts forever. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday September 6, 2025 at 1:00PM at The Collective Way Rentals and Events located at 501 Cross Street Salisbury, MD where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories.
