Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
-Job 1:21

So I will carry you
While your heart beats here
Long beyond the empty cradle
Through the coming years
I will carry you
All my life
And I praise the One Who's chosen me
To carry you
Knowing what we know, we would do it all over again. It was a blessing to carry you and an honor to be your parents. We are so proud of how hard you fought. The time we had with you before you took your last breath was not nearly enough, but we are beyond thankful to have met you. Mama, Daddy, and Evie love you, Ellis. Until we see you again, we'll be missing you.
