Funeral services for Mr. Ken L. Golemon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Camp Eight United Pentecostal Church, Otis, with Reverends Sam Russell and Paul Polotzola officiating. Interment will follow in Lonestar Cemetery, Hineston, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Golemon, 70, of Hineston, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 8, 2025, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was a hardworking and kind man who loved his family deeply. He was a proud retiree of the IUOE Local 406 Pipeliners Union. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd "Cap" and Bennie Jean Golemon; and one sister, Regina Renee Golemon Ward.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sons, Kenneth Dewayne Golemon (Amanda) of Hineston, and Chad Leon Golemon of Hineston; two daughters, Sara Jean Hebert (Kevin) of Elmer, and Alesha Clark Bolton (Trent) of Hineston; three brothers, Wayne Golemon (Ginger) of Hineston, Freddy Golemon (Elizabeth) of Opelousas, and Stevie Golemon (Jenny) of Hineston; thirteen grandchildren, Justin Day, Lane Golemon, Alexis Higgins, Riley Rivers, Cole Hebert, Blaine Clark, Evan Clark, Kensley Clark, Wade Bolton, Bailey Bolton Grant, Jaylen Golemon, Cameron Golemon, and Jocee Golemon; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held at Camp Eight United Pentecostal Church, Otis, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Mark Fredieu, George Weatherford, Cole Hebert, Trent Bolton, Kevin Hebert, Lloyd Howell, and Cameron Golemon. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Day, Lane Golemon, Riley Rivers, Blaine Clark, Evan Williams, and Wade Bolton.
