Elmer Calderon Jr. of West Deptford, NJ passed on March 12, 2024 at 62 years old. Elmer was born to Elmer Sr. and Maria Calderon in Spanish Harlem, New York City. Elmer served in the US Army as a Teletype Operator and went on to become a master parachutist in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Elmer was a true protector, fearless, and a devout family man. He was happiest at family gatherings and basked in the love and laughter.
Elmer leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 26years, Lourdes Calderon, his children Kristina Calderon, Monica Calderon, Anthony Calderon (Justice), and step-children Christopher Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Janine Rodriguez, Raquel Rodriguez, his grandchildren Mya, Morgan, Julissa, Avaya, Arianna and Kairi, his mother Maria Calderon, his sisters Sandra Lopez and Lisa Calderon, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We thank our family and friends for the continued love and support. We invite you to a visitation on Thursday March 21, 2024 from 5pm - 8pm at Inglesby and Son's Funeral Home at 2426 Cove Rd, Pennsauken, NJ. A morning visitation will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 from 9-10:30am at the funeral home followed by a Catholic Mass at 11am at Mary Queen of All Saints/St. Cecilia (Pennsauken, NJ).
