Elmo Walker Obituary

Elmo Jr. was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Elmo Jr. met the love of his life in 1980 and remained happily together for 43 years.
Elmo Jr. professed his life to Christ at an early age and has been a life-long member of Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church in San Marcos, Texas. He attended grade school in Martindale, Texas and graduated form San Marcos High School in 1975. He was a gifted baseball player for the San Marcos Rebels for many years.
Elmo Jr. was a self-employed septic tank installer and many other freelance jobs in the city.
He will be remembered most for his love for family and friends, barbequing, fishing, dominoes and his helpful spirit.
Elmo Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Elmo Walker Sr., in January 2002 and his brother, Tony Dwayne Walker, in November 2016.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Susan Llanas, his mother Mary Lou Walker, his brother Dennis Ray Walker and wife Shalaina of Lockhart, Texas, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation is Friday, March 3rd, 5:00-7:00pm at Pennington Funeral Home. Visitation also at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 4th, at 12:00pm, followed by Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Kelly Cemetery in Prairie Lea, Texas.

My sincere heartfelt condolences to Elmo´s family. I will forever be grateful for his selfless actions to save my son from a flooded river. I will continue to keep him and his family in prayer. Rest easy my dear friend!
