Eloise Fuller, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:42 p.m., surrounded by her loving family. She was 75.
Born February 15, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, Eloise was the daughter of the late Mary Harris and Linton Odom. Raised in the Forest Hill neighborhood on Cleveland’s East Side, she was the 5th of nine siblings and was affectionately known as “Pee Wee.” She was baptized on March 19, 1967, at Phillips Avenue Presbyterian Church and graduated from Glenville High School.
Eloise’s greatest pride was her family. She was the devoted mother of Lenora “Pookie” Odom and Yolanda “Yo Yo” Odom. Known for her strong work ethic, she worked for CMHA and later mastered laying floor tile alongside her sister Mary. Eloise was also a legendary cook with an open door and a big heart, and she lovingly cared for many children over the years, including running a daycare from her home.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Clinton “Sunny” Odom, Marvin “Uncle B” Odom, and Elaine Carr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Lenora Odom and Yolanda Odom; grandchildren, Eric Odom, Stephon Odom, Imari Odom-Ervin, Trae Fips, and Sha’mya Williams; and eleven great-grandchildren: Emani, Armani, Eric Jr., Easton, Emir (Odom), Stephon Odom Jr., Aubriella Odom, Kahmari, Zariyah, Zahmari, and Naavy Ervin. She is also survived by her siblings, Martha Welch, Leonard Odom (Christine), Betty Redding (Robert), Mary Nichols, Michael Odom, and Theresa Odom Walid; her uncle, Charles Harris (Emma); her aunt-in-law, Minnie Harris (the late Nathaniel); and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Eloise’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. until time of Homegoing Service at 2:00 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111.
