Terrence Russell Baon, a cherished husband, father, Poppy, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 15, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, Terry was the youngest son of Richard and Marilyn Baon, and he shared his life with his brothers, Dennis, Gene, and Darrell. His role as a loving uncle shaped many special bonds with his nieces and nephews.
Terry married his adored wife, Linda, on May 27, 1978, and together they created a life filled with love and unforgettable memories. They raised three children, Melaney (Nick), Chad (Kelly), and Nicholas (Kelly), who brought immense joy to their lives.
As a devoted Poppy, Terry treasured his eight grandchildren: Mikayla, Brayden, Makenna, Makenzie, Nicholas Jr., Emily, Oliver, and Kennedy. They were the highlight of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Terry's passion for life was evident in his love for camping, fishing, golfing, and racing motorcycles. An avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he enjoyed riding any motorcycle he could. His willingness to lend a hand during home improvement projects showcased his generous spirit, and he delighted in hosting backyard BBQs, often finding joy in pools during warm summer days.
While his family grieves his passing, they find solace in knowing that he is now free from pain and at peace. In honor of his spirit, they plan to hold a Celebration of Life in the future, where they will share cherished memories and reflect on the joy he brought to their lives.
Terry's legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
