Barbara Allen Bittner (Robinson) was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on January 21st, 1954, and passed away on January 2nd, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by love. Barbara lived a life defined by kindness, laughter, and deep devotion to her family and friends.
She retired from Kaiser Permanente, where she was known for her warm personality and strong work ethic. Barbara was cherished for her quick wit, sense of humor, and love of life. She had a way of making people feel welcome, heard, and cared for, and her laughter could brighten any room. Above all, she was a deeply loved and devoted parent, sibling, and “Mamaw,” whose family was the center of her world.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Opal Robinson; her siblings, Eloise Mravec, Junior Ray Coats, Paulette Coats, Douglas Coats, Jimmy Coats, and Joel Robinson; and her beloved granddaughter, Isabella Casciana.
She is survived by her loving daughters Dawn Sexton, Michelle Bittner, and Heidi Bittner; her stepsons Herbie Bittner and Warren Bittner; her siblings Joyce Thomas, Dennis Robinson, Sheila Chipps, and Charlotte Smith; her grandchildren Taylor Robinson, Dominic Casciana, Eric Barger, Anabelle Casciana, Olivia Casciana, Raegan Barger, and Abigail Millsaps; and her great-granddaughter Heaven Barger. She is also survived by her soulmate and dear friend, Jerry Kovach, who shared in her life, laughter, and love.
An informal Celebration of Life will be held at Barbara’s home, 6807 Fir Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday, the 21st of January, from 3:00–7:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to stop by to share memories, stories, laughter, and tears.
Our mother, sister, Mamaw, and friend will be deeply missed, but her love, humor, and spirit will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
