Eloise Perry Stone, 91, of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, transitioned peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on July 7, 2025, in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was born on June 11, 1934, in Stamping Ground, Kentucky to the late Hubert and Rose Wasson Perry.
Eloise was a member of the Long Lick Baptist Church in Stamping Ground, Kentucky. She worked for the Scott County School System for many years. Her most important job was that of a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother; she was a cook, making sure everyone on the holidays had bags full of her homemade desserts and candies.
Eloise is survived by her daughters Denese (Daniel) Mahoney, Gina (Jim) Davis and Rosemary (Bennie) Thurman; son Paul (Janet)Tackett ; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her sons Larry Tackett, Eddie Tacket; daughter-in-law Janet Tackett; sisters Eva, Artie, Wilma and her twin Joyce; brothers Carl, Harvey, Estell and Harold.
