Beloved husband of the late Catherine M. "Nancy" Dowling (nee Sexton) for over 70 years.
Devoted father of Kathleen (Ed) Cappel, James Dowling, Michael (Ellen) Dowling, Paul Dowling and Annamarie Dowling.
Proud grandpa of Michelle, Brian, Ashley, Patrick and Megan.
Adored great-grandfather of Becker, Brecken, Bodie and Maggie.
Dear son of the late James and the late Lillian (Volay) Dowling.
Adored brother of the late Lorraine (late Ed) Haas & (late Larry Wilfong), and the late Francis (Carol).
Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 9300 W. 167th Street, Orland Hills, IL.
Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery
