Elsie May Edwards

Elsie May Edwards, 86 of Lancaster, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday September 5, 2023. Elsie was born on July 19, 1937 in Sugar Grove, Ohio to the late Pearley A. Hurst and Elsie May (Tignor) Hurst. She was a member of New Life Christian Center, 1955 graduate of Berne Union HS and retired from Stebe's Inc. in Carroll. Elsie is survived by her loving daughter, Angela (Jeff) Roberts; precious granddaughter, Kenady Alarae Roberts, sister, Sandy (Kevin) Kellenbarger, brothers, Mike (Neda) Hurst, Ken (Donna) Hurst, John Hurst and Ron Hurst, sister-in-law, Marlene Hurst; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Dean Edwards, brothers, Rick Hurst, Pearley Hurst, sister-in-laws, Helen and Faith Hurst.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at New Life Christian Center with Pastor Keller officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home as well as 1 HR PRIOR to the service on Tuesday at the Church. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to New Life Christian Center, 2642 Columbus-Lancaster Road NW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
