Elsie spent over 50 years as an ordained minister for the Salvation Army and the Pentecostal Church of God.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Char) Kermmoade and LaVonne (Jim) Brainerd; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and her sisters, Wanda Weatherman, Darlene Girdner, Claudie Roberts, and Donna Wilson. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Juanita Ballard; her husband, Dale Kermmoade; siblings, Louise Smith, Glenda Hampton, and Bud Ballard; children, Dale Rotschafer, John Rotschafer, and Ellen Fochtman; and grandson, Ben Rotschafer.
No local service will be held, but a memorial gathering will be held in California at a later date.
