Elsie Martin Obituary

Born in Laurens, Elsie was a daughter of the late John Furman and Mary Frances Lynch Terry. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Elsie is survived by her children, Marion M. Walker (David), Susan M. Waldrep, and Kenneth B. Martin; grandchildren, Stephen Waldrep and Chad Walker; a great grandchild, Blake Waldrep; and sisters, Brenda Vaughn and Nelly Brock.
In addition to her husband and parents, Elsie was predeceased by grandchildren, Brian Walker and Mary Angela Waldrep; and a son-in-law, Henry Waldrep.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 2:00 PM at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Alex D. Henderson. Visitation with the family will be immediately after the service.
