Elsie Rose Kohl Sauer (nee Slogaski)

Entered God's loving arms on July 19, 2025, age 97. Beloved wife of the late Frederick C. Kohl and the late Henry Sauer. Loving mother of Edward (Dianne) Kohl, Richard (Denise) Kohl, Beverly Wille, Jacqueline Vollrath, Nancy (David) Hoppe, Tom (Linda) Sauer, Ronald Sauer and Barbara (Don) Hood. Mother-in-law of Karin Kohl and Bertha Sauer. She was a proud grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Preceded in death by her sons, Frederick W. Kohl and Robert "Bob" Sauer. Also preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Stella Slogaski and siblings.
Elsie held many positions at the Women's Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chilton, WI. She also volunteered at the hospital in Chilton and Salvatorian Mission in New Holstein, WI. Elsie loved to play in ladies cards clubs. She will be known for her famous fish fries. Through the years, mom enjoyed fishing, playing Sheepshead, cribbage and bingo.
Visitation at the Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53072 on Monday, July 28, 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM with service to follow at 12:00PM.

Burial internment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Special thanks to Rainbow Hospice and Darlene from Visiting Angels for their loving care. Mom you will always be loved, remembered and missed!
