Nancy Lynn McDonald, age 60 of Milwaukee, WI passed away on September 12 th at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a tenacious battle against cancer.

Nancy was born on October 26 th, 1964, in Milwaukee, WI. She was the youngest child of Richard and Jean (Haig) Potts. Nancy attended St. Margaret Mary grade school and Messmer High School, from which she graduated in 1984. Nancy was united in marriage to the love of her life, John McDonald, on September 12 th, 1992, in Door County, WI. Her career was spent in customer service for Wells Fargo and most recently for Skygen.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and loved camping. Her happy place was Vista Royale Campgrounds in Bancroft, WI where she made 30 years of memories. The highlight of every summer was the annual family camping trip with the entire Potts gang.

Nancy was a loving mother, a supportive wife, a baby sister, the coolest aunt, and a beloved friend to all. Nancy loved her dogs, especially her Great Danes Tess, Hannah, Zoey, and Hazel and her black lab, Gracie.

Nancy will be dearly missed by her loving husband, John; children Tyler (Jennifer Konkel), Jacob (Dustin Boyer), and Zacary; siblings Diane, Mary (Jim Knautz), Margaret, Tom (Chris), Donna (Alan Bembenek), Linda (Larry Fadden). Siblings-in-law, Bradley (Donna), James (Beverly), and JoEllen; several nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends.

Nancy was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Janet Clark, her "adopted parents" Bob and Eyvon Haig, and her father & mother-in-law Ralph and Vivian McDonald.

Nancy's family would like to thank Horizon Hospice, her palliative care team at ProHealth, her oncology team at Froedtert, and the numerous doctors and nurses who cared for her along the way.
