Elsie Virginia Squires

Elsie Virginia Squires, 96, of Binghamton, formerly of Hancock, NY, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY, after a brief illness. She was born on July 9, 1929 in Deposit, NY, the daughter of James Barnard and Mary Belle (Fink) Bolster.
Ginny married Raymond Squires on May 27, 1951 in McClure, NY, and he predeceased her in December of 1986.
Ginny enjoyed word search puzzles and she was a huge Chuck Norris fan.
Surviving are 3 children: Terry Squires, Sharon Smith, and Todd Squires; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Jerry Bolster; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 5 brothers: Arthur, Edward, Melvin, James, and Nelson Bolster; and half brother, Leon Bolster.
Ginny's wishes were for cremation and burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock, at a later date.
