Elva Ann Holder (nee Eicher), of Hazelwood, MO, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Wilbur (Husband) Holder; cherished daughter of the late L. Eugene and L. Elva was preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Fidler.

Elva was a joyful and devoted Christian who shared nearly 60 wonderful years with Wilbur, the love of her life before his passing. Her deep faith guided her throughout her life, and she was an active member of her church, serving as a deacon, elder, and participant in the Presbyterian Women’s group. She led the church’s after-school program and volunteered with the Bridgton Clergy Helping Ministry, always giving her time and heart to others. A loving mother and grandmother, Elva cherished her family deeply. She had a passion for nature, especially wildflowers and birds, and could identify them all with ease. Creative and talented, she loved sewing, crafting, writing poetry, and even composed a song. Elva’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
