Elvina Bernice Smith, age 97, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born in Cadillac, MI on November 16, 1926 and married Raymond Smith. Mrs. Smith had been employed as a Maid and Greenhouse worker for numerous years. She had a very green thumb. Elvina enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
SURVIVORS
Daughter, Sylvia Vellenga and grandchildren Jeff, Melvin, and Tammy. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond Smith.

I will never forget visiting with Grandma Bea. She always had a cookie and coffee to share, anytime of day. So many moments of walking around the her yard to look at flowers as she shared about each one, sharing pointers for growing or the latest addition to her decorations. We loved going to look at the beautiful Christmas decorations Jeff and put up each year. Grandma always looked forward to a visit or a call and I will always remember her. My prayers and thoughts go out to all.
