The Dance has ended.

Elvira Moncada passed away in her sleep on July 26th 2025, in the glow of Christmas lights. Vera was born on February 15, 1952, in Portland, Texas, and later made her home in San Marcos, Texas. Known by all for her warm smile and her love of conversation, Elvira brought joy to every room she entered.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Married to her beloved husband Roger Moncada for 42 wonderful years, the two shared a life full of travel and adventure.
