Elwanda June West

Elwanda June West, age 88, of Christian County, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Home with Bro. Jimmy Stewart officiating and burial to follow in George West Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mrs. West was born in Christian County, KY, on October 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Robert Edward Lee and Beatrice King Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of New Barren Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ben George West in 1998, her daughters, Robbie Darlene West, Kathy Blake, her great granddaughter, Savannah Gloyd, and her brother, Paul King.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Good and Vicky Gloyd both of Hopkinsville; her sister, Linda Allison of Hopkinsville; her three grandchildren, Jonathan Good, Stacy Blake Jaseph, Samantha West; and her seven great grandchildren, Sean Dulin, Makayla Ward, Sylas Good, Cheyenne Ward, Landyn Dulin, Kole Hutchison, and Bayleigh Dulin.
