Alice Smith Obituary
She was born on August 23, 1941, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Hazel Holeman Morrison and John Morrison. She was formerly employed by the Hopkins County Department of Human Resources. She was a member of the Branson Band along with her late husband and she also played for the Benny Pryor Band. Alice was a member of the Dalton Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Basil "B.L." Lloyd Smith.
Her survivors include her son, Steve Curtright of Madisonville; stepdaughters, Angela Miller of Slaughters, KY and Kay Phillip of Charleston, SC.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Dalton, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.
