Emanuel Carl Hazell

Emanuel Carl Hazell, born on December 12, 1944, in the Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 80. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Emanuel's legacy is one of love, dedication, and deep love and service of the Lord.

Emanuel is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Hazell, with whom he shared 58 remarkable years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with joy and companionship. He is also survived by his daughters, Carla Hazell and Francine Martin and son-in-law Lamont Martin, his cherished grandchildren: Khalil Dicks, Marcus Hazell, and Lamont Martin, Jr.; brother, Earl Hazell; sisters, Cheryl Hazell and Glendora Woodard. Emanuel leaves behind a loving family that will forever cherish his memory. Emanual was preceded in death by his parents, Emanual and Elois Hazell.

Emanuel proudly served his country four years in the United States Air Force before embarking on a successful career as an aircraft mechanic with American Airlines. He took tremendous pride in his work and was known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence. These traits also shone through in his personal life, where he was often found fixing cars and listening to music, activities that brought him great joy.

A kind-hearted and generous man, Emanuel was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His caring nature and willingness to support others were hallmarks of his character, deeply touching the lives of those around him.

Funeral services will be held to honor Emanuel's life and legacy. Family and friends are invited to the Wake on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, at the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place the following day on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00AM at the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, to celebrate the profound impact Emanuel had on all our lives. A graveside service will be held following the funeral at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114.
