Emidio William Polce

Emidio William "Bill" Polce 82 of Rocky Hill, CT passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side Thursday, November 14th 2024. Bill was born in Hartford, CT July 9th 1942 to the late Lamberto and Clara D'Angelo Polce. He grew up in West Hartford and spent most of his life doing auto bodywork and as a car dealer. Later in life, he drove a delivery truck. Bill enjoyed old cars, drag racing, du wop era music, trips to Atlantic City, camping, and cooking Italian food, most notably his famous Christmas Eve gnocchi.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Karen Polce; his son Anthony Polce and his wife Jeanine of CA; 2 stepdaughters, Lori Hummel of CT, and Kerry Aldrich and her husband Brian of MA; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his dog and best friend Bella. He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Polce Sydenstriker; his son William R. Polce and his brother Enrico Polce. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT followed by the burial in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
