Patricia Polce

Patricia Jurczak Polce, AKA "Gramma Pat," 86 years old of Nicholasville, Kentucky, ran into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 24, 2025. Patricia is survived by her two beloved children, Tres Polce and Molly Grounds, husband Lewis, her three adored grandchildren, Katelyn Grounds, fiancé Alex Saunders, Nicholas Grounds, wife Corinne Hodnett, and Lauren Tarbet, husband Michael, and her three precious great grandchildren, Jack, Lily, and Aoife, who knew her best as GiGi.
Patricia was born and raised in Baden, Pennsylvania, went on to graduate from Grove City College, and married her high school sweetheart, Ralph, in 1960. She started her career as a 7th grade English teacher, taught for 5 years, and then took on her most cherished role of being a Mama to her son and daughter, who were her pride and joy. She easily made friends wherever she lived and was loved by all who were blessed to spend time with her.
Life took Patricia and Ralph on many journeys where together they navigated Army life, traveled abroad, lived in several different states, and even owned their own furniture store. Patricia, " Sassy PJ" had a love and passion for reading books of all sorts, playing games such as dominoes and cards, finding unique hats and shoes of all kinds, and of course, spending time with the family she loved so very much. Patricia is preceded in death by the love of her life, Ralph William Polce Jr.
The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, at 2:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home: 207 West Oak Street, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
