Emil P. Kapusta of Ingleside, IL, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025 at 96 years young. Born in Chicago, IL in 1928, Emil was more than just a father, he was a teacher, a role model, and mentor to many who were blessed to know and learn from his amazing life experiences. He is survived by his children Randy Kapusta, Mark Kapusta, Tara (Jerry) Dannenberg, Tina Mandrek, and Kyle (Katie) Kapusta and his grandchildren Lyric, Evan, Lauren, and Drake. He is a dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many who will miss him deeply.
He is preceded in passing by his parents Paul and Maria (Simko) Kapusta, his sister Ella Phillips, and his grandchildren Charlie Kapusta and Shane Dannenberg.
Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4PM – 8PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11AM with entombment to follow at Warren Funeral Home, Cemetery & Mausoleum.
He will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.
