Emile Barry, Jr. age 73, died peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Carol Marie Forance Barry to whom he was deeply devoted to throughout their 42 years of marriage.

He was born in Lowell on April 5, 1951, son of the late Marie Jeanne Edwidge (Goulet) Barry and the late Emile J.B. Barry. Emile was a talented handyman, who could build or repair anything. He found himself working for several different companies, in many different industries, where his knowledge was exhibited throughout. Emile was a skilled machinist as well as an electrical and mechanical technician. Always wanting to learn on his own, he spent his spare time researching different areas of interest. His knowledge even led him to becoming an author and writing his own book “The Sky is The Limit” which was published in 2012.

In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his three brothers, Lawrence Barry and his wife Mary Ann of Lancaster, Arthur Barry and his wife Beverly of Chelmsford and Roland Barry and his wife Phyllis of Tewksbury; his three sisters, Claire Barry of Tewksbury, Rita Dempsey of Tewksbury and Mary Jane Barry of Lowell; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family members. He was the brother of the late Therese Duncan and Richard Barry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Emile’s Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 10 until 11 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emile’s memory to either Children’s Trust, 55 Court Street, 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02108 or to Tufts Medicine Care at Home, Inc., Development Office, 847 Rogers Street, Suite 201, Lowell, MA 01852.
