Emilie Cervantez, born on August 8, 1939, peacefully passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 85. Emilie was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering support.
Emilie was always deeply involved with her church, where her faith and devotion played an important role in her life. Her commitment to the church and its community was evident in all she did, and she found great joy in being an active part of it.
Emilie is survived by her loving sons, Peter, James, and John (Anabel), and her daughter Anita. She is also cherished by her ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many dear friends. She is further survived by her sisters Elma and Lucille, and her brother George. Emilie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Pete, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fillmore. The Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Bardsdale Cemetery immediately following the services.
