Known for his vivacious sense of humor, Emilio had a gift for transforming even the simplest moments into memories filled with laughter. His humble heart always put others before himself, making him a reliable pillar of support within his family and community. After dedicating 32 years of service to Mercy Medical Center's Environmental Services Department, Emilio retired in 2008 and turned his focus to what mattered most to him: his family, his prized Corvette, and the sweet melodies strummed on his guitar.
Emilio's legacy of love lives on through his adoring wife, Margarita Ramos, his devoted children, Oscar Ramos (Jeannette), Aileen Ramos (William), Nancy Garcia (Edward), and Maritza Ramos (Jose), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Francisco, Ricardo, Jaileen, Kiana, Isaiah, Jomar, Giana, Mia, Evan, and Aiden. Preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Pilar Ramos, Emilio is now their loving guardian angel, watching over us from above.
His memory will be celebrated at a viewing held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109. A mas will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 40 Waverly Street, Springfield, MA., followed by his burial at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA.
