Emily Foust Obituary
Emily was born on October 29, 1938 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Keith and Theodosia "Mary" (Payne) Ross. Emily graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1956 and married Robert (Bob) J. Foust that same year.
After moving to their newly built home in Marion, Ohio in 1964, Emily began working at GTE in 1967 and retired from there in 1988. In retirement, Emily worked at the local JoAnn Fabrics store for 20 years and also at Lowe's until her final retirement in 2025.
Emily enjoyed sewing clothes for her home and family, bowling on several league teams, making quilts for friends and family and playing Euchre with her friends at card club.
Emily will be dearly missed by her children, Lori (Melvin) Alspach, Brian (Sherry) Foust, and Sheri Toombs her fiancé, Gary Redmond; grandchildren Chris Toombs, Amy (Daniel) Werling, Holly (Jim) Everett, Brandon Alspach, Heather (Drew) Bender, Chris (Amber) Alspach, Bobbi Alspach; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Emily is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and grandson, Timothy Alspach.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 West Center St., Marion from 2PM to 4PM; funeral service will be Monday at the funeral home at 11AM; burial will be in Claridon Cemetery.

My condolences to all of Mrs. Foust´s loved ones. I didn´t know her, but I recognize her. I was a frequent JoAnn´s shopper. I saw her smiling face many, many times. Her voice was gentle and her manner was so kind. I didn´t know her but she was so memorable. May you find comfort in the memories you made together.
