Emma Thurston Obituary

Emma is survived by two daughters, Shiri Wilson of Tyner and Karen (Larry) Walden of London and by a step-daughter, Janet (Gary) Thurston of Atlanta, Ga. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Emma was also preceded in death by her grandson Robert William Baker; by a brother, Freddie Bowman; step-son, Donald Scott Thurston; by the father of her children, William E. Wilson and by her second husband James M. Thurston.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 Friday, October 10, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Lucian Estridge officiating. Burial to follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
