Kathleen "Kathy" Abrams

Kathleen Abrams, better known as Kathy, was born July 13, 1966, in Richmond, Kentucky, and departed this life October 5, 2025, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY, being 59 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Ronald & Dortha Webb.
Kathy was united in marriage to Odell Abrams in 1985. She is survived by her husband and by the following siblings: Diane Isaacs and her husband Terry; Marvin Webb and his wife, Mary Ruth; and Darlene Rader and her husband Marty. She is also survived by a host aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly. Other than her parents, Kathy was also preceded by her in-laws, Oscar & Sudie Abrams; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jimmy & Barbara Abrams; and her sister-in-law, Gail Simmons; and by her grandparents, Marion & Ivory Webb and Raymond & Sophia Gray.
Kathy experienced health problems for many years, but her life was a testament about her faith in God. She loved to listen to southern gospel music and was not ashamed to tell anyone she met about the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Kathy loved God, her family and her friends and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Revelation 21:4 states, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." We know Kathy is now resting in the Loving Arms of Jesus in a place where she is not in pain. Kathy's words to you today would be to believe in the Saving Blood of Jesus Christ so you can meet her in Heaven someday.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Webb and Bro. Wayne Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Gap Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
A visitation will begin at 12 at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel.
