Our beloved Mother Emma L. Valdespino age 98 went home to live forever with our Lord. She was deeply loved, honored and cherished by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Baldomero Valdespino. She is survived by her four children Baldomero Valdespino and wife Martha, Armando Valdespino and wife Maria, Victor Valdespino and wife Juanita, Sylvia Strohacker and husband Michael. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are her legacy. Her love and passions were Jesus her Lord and Savior and her family. She poured out her life, time and energy as a housewife and a devoted caretaker to her parents Soledad and Eutimio Lopez. She briefly worked at Providence Hospital as a nurses aide setting up surgical trays, a job she enjoyed very much. Her later life was spent serving Jesus at Good Samaritan and serving at colonies in Juarez Mexico under many different ministries. At the end of her life she required specialized care and spent her last years under the care of E.G. Adult foster home under the care of Elena De La Vega and her husband Henry and caretakers Anna Gurrola and Magda Garcia whom we are forever grateful for their compassionate and loving care. She was a bright and shining light while at her final home here on earth. Our family is so grateful to Envision Hospice for their compassionate care. What she will be remembered by the most is that she was a grateful woman who loved Jesus. The Valdespino/Lopez family give Thanks with full hearts for the impact of her life, her love for us and the Lord, her sure home in heaven, and the promise of being reunited with her in God's presence.
Emma's life will be honored on October 23, 2025 with a Celebration of Life service with Pastor Terry Gray and worship led by Luke Walker.
We know she is rejoicing in His presence!
