Emmanuel Paul "Mike" Mackrides

Emmanuel Paul Mackrides ("Mike"), 68, of Sanford, Florida, passed away on March 6, 2026.

Mike was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 31, 1957. His parents were Theodore (Ted) Mackrides and Estelle (Bratsis) Mackrides.

Mike spent many years working in the construction industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and pride in his craft. Mike built not only structures but also lasting friendships with those who worked alongside him.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cyndi, who passed away in September 2020. Mike and Cyndi shared 20 wonderful years of marriage together. Mike was also preceded in death by their son Michael Kosmin in 2003.

Mike is survived by his older brother, Simeon (wife Toula), and his younger brother, Stephen (wife Katrina). He is also survived by his nieces Alexandra Mackrides (husband Alex Homer), Sophia Mackrides, Ryann Colan, Cameron Colan, Ashley Martucci (husband Paul), and Rachel Colan, and nephews Evan Mackrides (wife Melissa), Stephen Mackrides (wife Melanie) and Nick Colan, and grand-nephew Lucas Mackrides, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Mike's family invites relatives and friends to join them in honoring his life on Thursday, March 19, at Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave, Newtown PA 18940. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at 12:00 p.m in Newtown Cemetery.

Mike will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
