Emmett Keith Douglas Warren, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 40. He was born on August 8, 1982, in Far Rockaway, NY, and later resided in
Island Park, NY. Emmett's journey in life was filled with passion, dedication, and love.
During his early years, Emmett attended PS 104 and IS 53, where he displayed an innate curiosity for knowledge. He continued his education at the prestigious Brooklyn Tech. Pursuing his love for learning, he attended LaGuardia College. Emmett attended an EMT program in Far Rockaway and became an EMT where he served his community.
His commitment to excellence marked Emmett's professional life. For two decades, he worked at HASC, walking the halls while singing to students and staff. He began his career working as a teacher assistant and progressed to the IT Tech/Assistant Transportation Coordinator, leaving a lasting impact on the organization and those he worked with. At the time of his passing, he was thriving as the Front Desk Manager at Wyndham Condominium, showcasing his impeccable leadership and customer service skills.
Beyond his professional achievements, Emmett held a profound passion for music and computers. He immersed himself in the world of melodies and technology, finding solace and joy in these creative pursuits.
However, Emmett's most significant accomplishments were found in his role as a devoted father and uncle. He adored his daughters, A'Miyah Renee and Aria Eileen, his nephew Andrew James and niece Abigail Marie. He took immense pride in guiding them through life's journey. His love and dedication as a father were unparalleled, and he leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and care.
Emmett was preceded in death by his aunt, Ruby Warren, uncle, Larry Warren, Uncle, and Michael Warren.
Emmett is survived by his parents, Emmett Melvin Warren and Jacqueline Marie Louise Warren, as well as his cherished sister, Danielle Marie Johnson (Lawrence Johnson), and his beloved brother, Isaiah Christopher Brown, his nephew, Andrew James Warren, and niece, Abigail Marie Johnson. As well as cherished family and friends: uncle, James Barton, cousin, Michael Billings, cousin, Michael Warren, family friends Brandon Melendez, Terrance Adderley and the Watson family.
Funeral services to honor and remember Emmett's life will be held July 31, 2023, from 4 PM to 8 PM.at the Christopher T. Jordan Funeral 302 Long beach Road
Island Park, NY 11558 http://www.jordanfh.com The burial will take place on August 1, 2023 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn Road Farmingdale, NY, providing an opportunity for family and friends to bid a final farewell. the family will be leaving the Christopher Jordan Funeral Home Monday at 10:30AM for burial time 11:15 AM. After the burial there will be a repast at 120 Beach 19th Community Room in Far Rockaway.
Emmett Keith Douglas Warren touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
