Emona Shevchuk, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Friday, October 13th, 2023, at the age of 82. She is survived by her beloved son, Alexander Shevchuk and his life partner Oleksandra Vasylchenko, Anatoliy Miretskiy, Emona's life partner; and sister, Yelena, Anatoliy's children, Alex and Marina Miretskiy, their son, Michael Miretskiy, and Alex's daughter, Sophia Miretskiy, Anatoliy's second son Igor Miretskiy and Anya Bodansky, thier children, Mathew Bodansky, and Timothy Bodansky, Emona's grandchildren, Alya and her husband Bismark Franco, Arseniy Vasylchenko, Dylan Lord, and Victoria Lord, great-grandchildren, Auden Franco, and Arya Franco, and also survived by Marina Rosovskaya, Yulia and Jake Komar, and their children, Mathew Komar and Shawn Komar, Alex Fedorovsky, his wife Tanya Federovskaya, Igor Federovsky, and Oleksandra's mother Paulina Bogdanova. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonid Shevchuk, loving son, Jon M. Taylor/Arthur Shevchuk; and parents Leparit Gevorkian and Tamara Bakaleychik.
Emona was kind, generous, hard working, and always found time for family and friends. We will miss you dearly, our Mamachka. You will always be in our hearts and memory forever. Rest in peace.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, at 10:30 am. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
