Enid Shulman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday August 7, 2025 surrounded by family, at the age of 96 in Brighton, New York. Born on September 16, 1928 in Albany, New York to Irving and Dorothy Lipton, Enid moved to Rochester, New York in 1948 and raised her family in Penfield.
On June 8, 1952 Enid married Larry Shulman, sharing 73 years of deep love and marriage before her passing.
Enid was pre-deceased by her eldest son, Frederic. She is survived by her husband Larry, children Stephen Shulman (Miriam Markowitz) and Debra Yates (Harry Richards). She is also survived by cherished grandchildren Anne, Aaron, Andrew, Ariel, Danielle, Jackie, Hayley, Jay and Kit as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
A family service with burial will be held Sunday August 10.
Enid is remembered for her dedication to her family and for her grace, kindness and integrity. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory may consider the University of Rochester Hospice program.
