Obituary
Enos Grant, a resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey, departed this life at the age of ninety-one (91) on Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was the son of the late Gus and Jennie Grant.
He was educated in both the New Jersey and Ohio school systems. He grew up attending service at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. Enos enjoyed the drive and sound of a Harley Davidson. He sustained a lifelong injury from a motorcycle accident, but continued to have a love for the Harley. Enos loved music and had an admiration for the guitar, which he could play very well. He was also a great pool enthusiast, known to be one of the best and would challenge anyone to a game of pool.
He had the most humorous laugh, that was always followed by him saying, "Wooh." That laugh of his would bring laughter to others. Enos worked various jobs before retiring from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland. After retiring, he resided in both Princess Anne and Fruitland, Maryland prior to moving back the big city of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Enos leaves to cherish great memories with: his children, Ray "Ernest", Deborah, William "Shawn", Marva "Sherry" (Kirk) and Kathy (John); his sisters, Latva, Martha and Sarah; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and great nieces, nephews and great nephews, cousins and friends. Enos loved all of his family and shared a special friendship with Sidney and Sherwood.
In addition to his parents, Enos was preceded in death by his son, Nelson, brother, Ezekiel and sister, Loretta.
