Enrique "Henry" DeLoera, Jr., age 68, of Roscoe, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Father Josh Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Loraine Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Enrique "Henry" DeLoera, Jr. was born on July 29, 1957 in Loraine, Texas to Enrique DeLoera, Sr. and Maria (Sanchez) DeLoera. He married Sylvia Gomez on November 5, 1977 in Loraine, Texas. He was a Master Carpenter by trade but possessed a wide range of skills across many disciplines. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He lived by his own rules, loved with his whole heart, and left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. A rebel in the truest sense, he never pretended to be anything other than himself-and that authenticity was one of his greatest gifts & made him the best storyteller with friends -“too many”. His love was steady, protective, and deeply unconditional. He carried an old-school hippie soul: long on wisdom, short on patience for nonsense, and always guided by family, love, and personal freedom. He found joy in simple things, questioned authority, and lived life on his own terms, unapologetically. He was a rebel with a kind heart, he rocked and rolled wherever he went. His laughter, his stories, and his unmistakable presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the lessons he taught and the love he gave. He leaves behind a family forever shaped by his love. Though he may be gone from this world, his legacy of love, freedom, and authenticity will never fade. Rest in heaven. You did it your way-and it was beautiful.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia DeLoera of Roscoe, Texas; Son, Sammy DeLoera and wife Tammy of Colorado City, Texas; Daughters, Eliza DeLoera Perez and husband Antonio of Fort Worth, Texas, Elizabeth DeLoera Bell and husband Will of The Colony, Texas, and Elaina DeLoera of Roscoe, Texas; Grandchildren, Kallista DeLoera, Enrique DeLoera, Maria DeLoera, Shawn DeLoera and wife Diane, Kyleigh Huhn and husband Maguire, Jacob DeLoera, Tatum Hernandez, Jurni DeLoera, Allonso Hernandez, and Benito DeLoera; great granddaughters, Heidi and Eilana DeLoera; and brothers and sisters, Mary Helen Edwards and husband Tim of Colorado City, Texas, Janie Martinez and husband Danny of Colorado City, Texas, Terri Madrid of Buffalo Gap, Texas, and Michael DeLoera of Loraine, Texas.
