Enwer "Ed" Kreho

Enwer "Ed" S. Kreho, 74, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Maria Carriero Kreho. Ed was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts on March 23, 1952, and was the son of the late Mujo and Katharina Siegel Kreho. He served his country faithfully in the US Army and later worked as foreman at Pratt & Whitney for 37 years. Ed and his wife Lucy were inseparable, they enjoyed Corvettes and being part of the Corvette Club for many years. He will be remembered for how passionate he was with caring for and maintaining what some would call the "best lawn" in the neighborhood and in the 80's throwing the best 16th birthday party ever. Ed was a devoted family man and friend to many. Father of Timmy (Irena) Fernandes and Jason (Maria) Fernandes. Grandfather of Tyler, Andrew, Natalie, Evan, Michael, Joseph and his granpup Kevin. Brother of his twin sister Carol Treloar, Kelvin (Gayle) Kreho, Glenda Walker, and the late Magdalena Wood and Ludwig Kreho. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The visiting hours will be on Saturday, April 4th from 9 to 11 AM in The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:00.
