Enzo Magni

MAGNI, Enzo February 6, 2025 Age 88. Beloved husband of the late Assunta (2023). Loving Father of Daniela (John) Schilling and Mark (Allison) Magni. Proud grandfather of Austin and Isabella Schilling and Samuel and Lillian Magni. He will be remembered for his kindness, determination, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
Enzo was born in 1936 in Ceprano, Italy. He was the first born of five children to Domenico and Maria Magni. In 1952, Enzo immigrated to the United States at 15 years old and settled in Detroit with his Aunt and two cousins. Enzo eventually met Assunta, also from Ceprano, and the two married in June 1961. The couple moved to Sterling Heights in 1971 to raise their two children while Enzo worked as a valued employee at Borg Warner Automotive for 40 years.
Enzo had a deep passion for exercise, being outdoors and his family. He completed five Detroit Free Press International Marathons and continued running for exercise well into his seventies. Enzo found great joy in gardening and landscaping, cultivating beauty around the grounds of his home with the same care and dedication he showed in every aspect of his life. Enzo was also a devoted grandfather to his four grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and passed on his love of the outdoors, his Italian culture, and his unwavering commitment to family.
