Eric Brewer

Eric Patrick Brewer, 39, of East Windsor, passed away suddenly on October 9,2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 23, 1986 in Manchester, Connecticut Eric was the cherished son of Patrick Brewer and Sherry (Hodge) Iacolino. Eric grew up in Somers, CT. Where he spent his formative years with his Mom and Dad before moving to East Windsor, CT. For more than a decade, Eric worked as an electrician, taking great pride in his craft and earning a reputation for his skill, creativity, and ability to find alternative solutions to any job.
Eric was an amazing Athlete, excelling in lacrosse, cross country running, soccer and a pitcher in baseball. We enjoyed watching him play competitive sports over the years. beyond Athletics and work, Eric loved his pets, his beloved dog Nikka and his cat Milo, they were always by his side. He loved a good political debate, had a remarkable talent with computers, and was always the one friends and family turned to for help.
In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his brother, Justin R. Brewer; his maternal grandmother, Alice Hodge; his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Joyce Brewer; his uncles, Dan Brewer and Warren Hardman; and his mother's husband, Al Iacolino. Eric always had a smile when his love Ela Meuszynski was by his side. He also leaves behind many aunts; uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Hodge, and his uncle Dennis Hodge.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance during calling hours, on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main Street, Somers, CT. A graveside service will be held the following morning, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Somers Center Cemetery on Battle street. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric's memory may be made to Pawsafe Animal Rescue, 10 Sandy beach Road, Ellington, CT, 06029
