Eric Hollis Coons, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 52. Cherished son of Judith A. Coons and the late Larry Gilbert Coons; dear brother of Brian Coons, and the late Jeffrey Coons; loving uncle of Taylor Mullinax; nephew of Dwayne (Jeanette) Garrett, Peggy (Tim) McDonnell; a host of other relatives and friends. Eric is preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett (Clara) Garrett and Hollis (Catherine) Coons, and his uncle, Hollis Coons, Jr.
Eric worked at Boeing for eight years and was known for his intelligence, quick wit, and great sense of humor. A devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan, he loved music, movies, and listening to audiobooks, and he especially enjoyed going to the theater to watch films. An avid collector and biking enthusiast, Eric was a true people person who never met a stranger and could make anyone laugh. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Eric's name to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital & Tunnel to Towers.
