Eric M. Echard

Eric M. Echard, 56, of Circleville, departed his temporary home on earth on July 5, 2023, to go to his final resting place with the Lord. He was born October 12, 1966 in Ross Co. to the late Neil Echard and Ginny (Arledge) Echard, who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Craig Echard. Eric is survived by his son Jordan (Shonda) Echard, grandson River and an unborn grandson due in December. Also surviving, brother Chris (Angel) Echard, sister Kim Echard-Burton (Jeff), nephews and nieces Ryan, Colin, Megan, Emily, Kylee and Westin, he also had many special and much loved friends who were like family to him. Eric was a 1985 graduate of Logan Elm High School where he was a star athlete in football and wrestling. He was employed at Kenworth Truck Company for over 20 years and also had his own landscaping business. He was a devoted father, never missing any of his son's football games and accomplishments, loved his daughter-in-law and was a wonderful grandfather to River. He dearly loved his mother, brother and sister. Eric enjoyed going to hear live music with his close friends and was an avid bicyclist and Ohio State football fan. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 11, 2023 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial following at Springbank Cemetery in Yellowbud. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-8 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations for a memorial bench to be placed on the bicycle path.
