Eric Michael Edwards, age 46 of McEwen, TN passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN on November 11, 1977 to Carolyn and Joe Edwards. Eric was a faithful member of Christ Community Church in McEwen, TN where he enjoyed cleaning the church for 21 years. He also loved all animals and mowing. Eric was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Left to cherish his memory is his parents, Carolyn and Joe Edwards, of McEwen, TN; brother, Jason Edwards of Nashville, TN; and maternal grandmother, Ruby Runions of Waverly, TN.
Eric is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Theda Edwards; and maternal grandfather, Clyde Runions.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Christ Community Church beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. Officiating the service will be Pastor David Lucas. Interment to follow at Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to the Humphreys County Humane Society in honor of Eric.
