Eric Arnold Forrell

Eric Arnold Forrell, 73, of Downingtown, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Charles Forrell, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.

Born in Ridgewood, Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Otto and Eleanore M. Winter Forrell.

Eric graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1970. He went on to attend Queensboro Community College. After College he worked for Ricoh Company for 32 years. He retired from Ricoh in 1917.

Eric enjoyed music. He played guitar in various bands while living in Queens New York. His love of music continued through his entire life. He liked playing and creating his own music. His second love was fishing. From his youth going fishing with his Dad up until the end he was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his wife, Eric is survived by his daughter, Alison Forrell; his four grandchildren, Samantha Raby, Emily, Erica and Steven Schreiner; and by a brother, Andrew Forrell (Marilyn).

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be private with the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church Youth Fund.
