Eric Gutierrez

Eric Gutierrez of Dilley, Texas has passed away at the age of 38. 

He is preceded in death by his father Arturo Gutierrez, and brother, Ariel Gutierrez.

Eric is survived by his mother, Consuelo Gutierrez; wife, Samantha Moreno; daughter, Evalyn; siblings; Jorge (Marisol), Rosa Isela (Chris Larez), Carlos, and Michael, and numerous nieces and nephews, and friends that he met along the way. 

Eric was a vibrant soul who lit up every room he entered with his energy and laughter. Eric was a valued family member and friend to many, he never met a stranger and was always ready to greet everyone with his infectious smile and a big hug, sometimes catching you by surprise by lifting you off your feet.

Eric had a passion for his family including his precious daughter Evalyn and a vast knowledge of vehicles. When he wasn't spending time with Evalyn, you could run into Eric covered in grease and oil from working on cars/trucks all day, while this was his profession, he had a passion for fixing vehicles and loved what he did.

Although Eric is gone, he will not be forgotten and will live in our hearts and memories of him forever.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall, Texas. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:00am at Lighthouse Church in Dilley, Texas with interment to follow in Latin American Cemetery in Dilley, Texas (inside Dilley Cemetery).
