Eric T. Haney, age 62, of Munroe Falls, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2024. He was born in Cleveland on December 8, 1961. He spent his adult life as a programming/electronics engineer and was the founding leader of the Munroe Falls Paranormal Society. He was an avid collector in many different things and enjoyed spending his leisure time in the digital world of gaming. Above all, he enjoyed quality time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Sue; children Jennifer (Christian) Grenvik, Eric M. (Lindsey) Haney, Shawn Haney; grandchildren Olivia Grenvik and Owen Haney; mother Beatrice Oliveri; brother Darrell Haney; and his loving gray Tom Cat, Chatchi. He was preceded in death by his father Glen Haney; and grandmother Dorothy "Grammy" Weyandt and grandfather Chester "Pappy" Weyandt.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 21st from 11 AM - 12 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral services begin promptly at 12 noon. Final resting place is Silver Springs Cemetery.
