Eric Hansen Obituary
Eric Paul Hansen passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 58. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Renee Longley Hansen and his two daughters: Lauren and Sydney. He is the son of Florence Ledet Hansen and the late Christie Paul Hansen. He is the son-in-law of Bob and Sandy Longley. He is also survived by his sisters, Geralyn Vallot (Blaine), Michaelyn Bellelo (Jeffrey) and a host of nieces and nephews. Eric was the owner of Chris’ Marine Service, LLC and Chris Hansen Seafood, LLC. He was a member of the Louisiana Shrimp Association. He was an avid Saints fan and loved attending Saints games. He also loved to hunt, fish, and attend NASCAR races. Eric made deep connections with people everywhere he went and impacted all of us in a very special way. If you knew him, you loved him. He never met a stranger. He was beloved by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA at 2pm. Visitation will be held at the church from 12pm-2pm. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery following the Mass. The Hansen family invites you to share thoughts, fondest memories, and condolences on the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have reached out with messages of support and condolences during this difficult time period. May we find comfort in the cherished memories we shared with Eric and in the knowledge that his spirit will forever live with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
